Tim Jones' roots run deep in the South- more specifically, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. It was here, those mountain traditions led him to a love for bluegrass music.
Ever since he can remember, he's listened to the sound of his granddads voice and the strum of an ole guitar or banjo. At the early age of 10, his mom would find him many nights, with his mandolin strapped to his chest, fast asleep, with a bill Monroe tape playing. Ever since, he has immersed himself in the traditional sounds of bluegrass. Iconically, Jones has tailored his mandolin picking to the Monroe style, all while making it his own.
Jones also enjoys picking guitar and playing the piano at a little country church. Tim spends his days tending to his farm and riding horses every chance he gets. Most importantly he enjoys sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others. He and wife Lakin reside in Brevard NC.
